- Synopsis - W912P9-16-B-0014- Rend Lake Sluice Gate Replacement The work includes, but is not limited to, perform minor steel modifications to two existing stop log framing structures so that hoists can be used to lower stop logs for dewartering. Once dewatered, the low flow sulice will be inspected and measurements taken by a slide gate manufacture for fabrication of 4 new 48" x 72" heavy duty cast iron slide gates. This requirement is solicited as an unrestricted competitive procurement. The contract duration is 365 calendar days. The estimated cost range of the project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The NAICS code for this requirement is 237990. The solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The solicitation package will be issued on or about 29 July 2016. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation. The solicitation package will be posted on FedBizOpps, which can be accessed at www.fedbizopps.gov./. For changes to the issue date or any other changes to the information in this synopsis, potential offerors are responsible to check the posting on FedBizOpps. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests, for the solicitation package will not be honored. Potential offerors MUST register at the St. Louis Contracting Division Home page at http://www.mvs.usace.army.mil/ct/ct/htm and/or at www.fedbizopps.gov./ in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation.
