No contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. The Military Sealift Command has a requirement for Shipboard Electrical Services to include but are not limited to inspection, maintenance, repair, service, modification, and installation work on shipboard electrical power generating, power distribution, interior communications, automation, control and monitoring systems. The services provided under this contract shall be for MSC vessels. The requirement includes a one year Base Period and four (4) one-year option periods to commence on 01 October 2016. This requirement will be solicited on a 100% small business set-aside basis. The estimated issue date for this solicitation is on or about 01 August 2016 with an estimated closing date of 31 August 2016. Upon issuance, the solicitation and supporting documentation will be posted on FEDBIZOPS (https://www.fbo.gov) under solicitation number N32205-16-R-2312. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. All respondents must provide a Dun & Bradstreet number (DUNS) and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. The appropriate NAICS Code is 811219. There are no responses due based on this presolicitation notice and the Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received for this notice. The decision to set aside this procurement as 100% small business set-aside was made resulting from Market Research indicating there is a reasonable expectation of receiving quotes from two or more small business concerns.
