Gregory 256-313-4650; email: keith.b.gregory5.civ@mail.mil The information sought herein is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a request for quotation (RFQ), request for proposal (RFP), or invitation for bid (IFB), or as an obligation for commitment on the part of the Government to acquire any product or service. There shall be no basis for claims against the Government as a result of information submitted in response to this sources sought announcement. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this announcement or otherwise pay for any information submitted by respondents to this request. This notice is for market research purposes only and is not indicative of a full requirement. Should a requirement arise, the full requirement will be detailed in the solicitation, if issued. The U.S. Army TMDE Activity {USATA) Nuclear Counting Laboratory has a requirement to completely refurbish {mechanically and electronically) or upgrade and calibrate a quantity of four Gamma Products Gas Proportional Counters to resolve wear and electronic issues resulting from more than fifteen years of continuous operations and issues resulting from power surges. Specific requirements are as follows: Refurbish Gamma Products Model 5020-100T (3 each) to factory "as new" condition Refurbish Gamma Products Model 5020-50T (1 each) to factory "as new" condition and upgrade to Model 5020-100T specifications & calibrate.
