The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify qualified Small Business concerns including 8(a), HUBZone or Service-Disabled Veteran-owned businesses that are interested in and capable of performing the work described herein. The NCI does not intend to award a contract on the basis of responses received nor otherwise pay for the preparation of any information submitted. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. An organization that is not considered a small business under the applicable NAICS code should not submit a response to this notice. This requirement is assigned North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334516 with a size standard of is 500 employees. As a result of this Sources Sought Notice, the NCI may issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ). THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The Radiation Oncology Branch (ROB) exists to plan and conduct pre-clinical and clinical research on the biologic and therapeutic effects of radiation administrated alone or in combination with other modalities of treatment; to develop novel technology and imaging based approaches for radiation oncology; to investigate the natural history of disease to understand and evaluate means of diagnostic assessment for the purpose of optimizing treatment selections; and to provide radiation therapy as well as general oncology consultations for patients admitted to other Clinical Research Center (CRC) clinical services, in a collaborative approach. A brand name or equal CIVCO Body Pro-Lok ONE-Platform Package Two Patient Immobilization Systems is requested to immobilize patients receiving radiation therapy where the highest degree of precision is required; such as Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Extracranial Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), Intensity Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) and Respiratory Gated Radiotherapy. In these cases, the body must be immobilized and organ motion must be suppressed in order to stabilize target position motion during treatment. Alternatively, delivery can be gated so that the treatment can be delivered only while the target is in a stable position. Any significant motion during treatment delivery, either due to movement of the patient as a whole or movement of the target as a result of normal, predictable physiological function, will have an adverse effect on patient outcome Salient Characteristics for the brand name or equal CIVCO Body Pro-Lok ONE-Platform Package Two Patient Immobilization Systems and Associated Accessories • One (1) ONEPlatform with four (4) 3-pin Lok-Bars, • One (1) ONEBridge • Two (2) Storage Bases • One (1) Body Pro-Lok Respiratory Belt • One (1) Respiratory Plate • Two (2) Cam-Lok Cushion • One (1) Kneefix Cushion • One (1) Feetfix Cushion • Six (6) Vac-Lok T-Series Indexable Cushions • Two (2) Slide Guide 40cm-53cm Lok-Bars How to Submit a Response: 1.
