- Amendment 0001 7/14/16 Amendment 0001 issued to extend the closing date to 8/3/16 *** DLA Aviation Richmond is issuing a solicitation to procure five (5) each Diesel Driven Arc Welder/Generators. The solicitation is intended to result in a Firm, Fixed Price Contract with completion requested in 30 days ARO. This requirement is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. Request for Quote SPM4A8-16-Q-0116 is Full and Open Competition. A complete technical data package, DLA-A-VIBB-15-12-10621, including all design, fabrication, supplies, labor, accessories, installation, and training requirements is included as a part of the solicitation. FOB will be at Destination with inspection inspection and acceptance at Destination The solicitation will issue on 06/09/16 and close on 06/28/16. This synopsis serves to meet the requirements to post solicitations as the RFQ is NOT available on DIBBS. T he solicitation will be issued and evaluation performed utilizing FAR 13.5 under the guidance of the Permanent Authority for Use of Simplified Acquisition Procedures. A copy of the solicitation is attached.
