- X-Plane System Requirements SF-1449 The attached solicitation NND16592767R is for the X-Plan Systems Requirements Definition. NASA seeks contractor assistance in the concept design for the development of the potential X-Plane requirement. The goal of the study is to assist NASA in defining the cost, schedule, and technical approach for proceeding with the potential subsonic X-plane procurement. NASA requires a detailed integrated X-plane concept designed that provides data that supports a vision system capable of meeting all three NASA N+2 goals simultaneously. NASA will use the data gathered from the contract(s) awarded under this solicitation to assist in the development of its X-plane requirements. The Government requires unlimited data rights to the system requirements definition deliverable. The Government's right to other data under this requirement shall be proposed by Offeror. This requirement is limited to Domestic sources. Proposals from foreign sources will not be accepted. NASA will be conducting a Pre-proposal Conference (Industry Day) via webinar 15 July 2016. Link for Webinar https://nari.arc.nasa.gov/xplanerfp Date - July 15, 2016 Time - 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Eastern Potential Offerors that plan to attend the webinar should submit a list of attendees which include the name, title, position, and company name the attendee is representing. After the webinar, potential Offerors may submit additional questions to this office no later than 22 July, 2:00 p.m. PT. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
