Description
This is a subcontracting opportunity. Gerald R. Ford Job Corps is soliciting cost proposals for a qualified Mental Health Consultant to provide SUBCONTRACTED mental health services for a facility of about 200 students ages 16-24. The minimum requirement is a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW). Services are to be provided for a period of 12-14 hours weekly, 49 weeks per year on a fixed price service basis. Services are to include (but not limited to): advice to the Center Director and health services staff on mental health matters, providing regular program and organizational consultation, develop and integrate mental health programs center-wide, consult with relevant staff on ongoing student problems/issues, develop a protocol for meeting life crisis issues, and provide staff development in the application of mental health principles and techniques. Clinical services will include working with student mental health separations, advice for off-site mental health services and costs (including inpatient facilities), maintain and safeguard the confidentiality of records in accordance with HIPAA, oversee mental health standing orders, oversee diagnostic and evaluations services, authorize and use crisis intervention, brief psychotherapy(per licensure and accreditation), assist with student referrals, and provide clinical assistance for the TEAP specialist and other drug specialists. Experience in working with youth that have traumatic backgrounds, have been homeless, and come from disadvantaged areas is preferred. Responses to this solicitation must contain a copy of current State of Michigan license, resume, college completion information, and proof of malpractice insurance. All responses are subject to the approval of the Regional Mental Health Office which will occur prior to formal interviews being granted. A tour of the facility and informational meeting will occur on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 10:00 am. The location of the meeting is 110 Hall SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49507 in room 132. This subcontract covered September 1, 2016 until August 31, 2017 contingent on continued funding from the federal government to MINACT, Inc. and the Gerald R. Ford Job Corps Center.
