- J&A Reacted This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302.2 for other than full and open competition, as well as FAR Parts 13.5 and 5.2. The US Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground - Tennant Contracting Division, 6001 Combat Drive, Aberdeen, Maryland, 21005 has a requirement to procure the following: Preventive Maintenance and Telephonic Support to Isolate and Resolve Hardware and Software Problems. Service Center Repair and On-site Hardware Troubleshooting and Repair with Standard Response time for Eleven (11) GCMS 5975 Turbo Systems. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other will satisfy agency requirements, the Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed price Sole Source contract to Agilent Technologies, 2850 Centerville Rd., Wilmington, DE, 19808, Cage Code oYSC6, a large business. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 811219 and the Business Size Standard is $20.5 million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the U.S. Government. Interested persons may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 2:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday, July 18th, 2016. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
