- The purpose of this Amendment is to: 1. Provide answers to the following questions - Q#1 - Has a contractor performed similar work to this for the government in the past? If available, please provide the incumbent contract number. If you are unable to provide a contract number, is it safe to assume this is a new requirement for the government? A#1 - There is no active contract in place providing these services nor have they been received in the past with the Department of the Treasury. Q#2 - The section C paragraph 1 specifies the SoftWill Cargo style with non-roll dress style waistband with button closure, does it mean that the requirement is for an item from the UniFirst uniform company or would an equivalent item from another vendor be considered by the contracting officer? A#2 - An equivalent is acceptable. Q#3 - I wanted to ask if this (Product Service Code is S209: Laundry & Dry Cleaning Services and W084: Lease or Rental of Clothing, Individual Equipment) means that the contractor have to lease the facility at 12 & C Street SW, 300 Block Washington, DC 20407 and equip the facility with laundry machines or is this contract simply just pick-up and delivery from 12 & C Street SW, 300 Block Washington, DC 20407. A#3 - This requirement is for the leasing of uniforms with laundry services, which includes pickup and delivery. Please reference the Statement of Work for further details. Specific delivery instructions will be given in the award. 2. Extend the solicitation. New closing date is July 14, 2016; 12:30 Noon, EST.
