Description

The purpose of this amendment is to provide answers to questions received and extend quote due date. 1)Will the user need to purchase a Faraday Cage and an Anti-Vibration table? Response: A Faraday Cage is not necessary, but an anti-vibration table is needed. 2)What objective lenses and/or magnifications will the user need to view and image their samples? Response: 4x, 10x, 20x and 40x objective lenses are needed. 3)What fluorescent dyes (wavelengths) will the user utilize for sample imaging and data collection? Response: The fluorescent dye is Lucifer yellow CH dilithium salt, Sigma (L0259-100mg, 40397PJ). The wavelengths are Ex425, EM 550. 4)Does the user require the ability to image calcium waves/sparks or preform ratiometric imaging of dynamic live-cell events? Response: No. 5)If imaging of dynamic events is required, what speed do these events occur? Will the microscope need to include fast motorized shutters to switch between specific wavelengths? Response: N/A 6)Does the microscope require an imaging station and software for image acquisition and analysis? Response: N/A. a.If so, what kinds of analysis will be performed on acquired data? Response: N/A The solicitation response date is extended until 13:00 hours Central Time on July 14, 2016.
