- JUSTIFICATION AND APPROVAL The United States Air Force, 11th Contracting Squadron, intends to award a sole source (brand name) Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to M-B Companies, Inc. for purchase of parts for a 2004 Oshkosh Model HB2718HG Runway Broom. PARTS: •1.) Gearbox, 6.0:1 065 Series O-Ring Input Flange (1 EA) •2.) Core Assembly, 28 Row Cass 4618 Single Side (2 EA) The proposed Gearbox and Core Assembly will be utilized by the 11 th Logistics Readiness Squadron in order to provide snow removal in high risk areas on Joint Base Andrews, MD. Award will be made directly to M-B Companies, Inc. IAW FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements ". The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 333120 with a size standard of 1,250 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice, and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. If no response is received by 1:00 pm EST, 19 July 2016, an award will be pursued with the company mentioned above. All responses shall reference solicitation number F1D3496132AW01 and be sent via electronic mail to Mr. Craig L. McClain, at craig.l.mcclain.civ@mail.mil. Telephonic inquiries will not be honored.
