- Solicitation Documents: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation documents will be available electronically to download from this website on or about July 27, 2016. Project Description: The purpose of this contract is to secure services for fuel reduction work. All fuel reduction work will take place on Klamath National Forest land in order to protect values at risk and manage fire within the Mid-Klamath Rivers Community Project area. Location: This includes the unincorporated communities of Happy Camp, Thompson Creek, Seiad Valley, Scott Bar and Hamburg in rural western Siskiyou County, California. Items 1-4 are located on the Happy Camp Oak Knoll Ranger District, with the district office located at 63822 State highway 96, Happy Camp CA 96039. Items 5 and 6 are located on the Salmon/Scott River Ranger District, with the district office located at 11263 N. Highway 3, Fort Jones CA 96032. Contract Time: 3 years Estimated Start Date: October 15, 2016 Pre-bid Site Visit: A pre-bid site visit will be held at a future date to be determined. Information will be posted once it becomes available. Set-Aside: This project is 100% set aside for small businesses. Response Location: Offers will be accepted at the Northern California Acquisition Service Area, Redding Office, located within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest Headquarters at 3644 Avtech Parkway, Redding, CA 96002 NO LATER than time and date indicated on solicitation. SAM REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: A DUNS number and registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) is required. Please note that Vendors shall have a current entity registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) by the closing date of the solicitation. **THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE.
