- Description
- 1. The contract is for the repair and installation of various electrical systems within USAG Ansbach, which includes Katterbach, Bismarck Kaserne, Barton Barracks, Shipton Kaserne, Bleidorn Kaserne, Storch Barracks in Illesheim and Oberdachstetten. This contract includes all electrical work to install new systems or to repair existing buildings or electrical systems. 2. The solicitation will result in an ID/IQ contract with a guaranteed amount of Euro 15,000.00 for the entire contract period and an estimated maximum contract value of Euro 4,900,000.00. 3. Contract period: 01 April 2017 - 31 March 2022 4. Thirty (30) % of the work must be performed by the prime contractor. 5. The solicitation will be issued on or about 16 September 2016 with an anticipated bid opening date of approximately 18 October 2016. the solicitation will be posted at the following website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted it is incumbent upon parties to review the website frequently for any updates/amendments. 6. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the RCO Bavaria. 7. Work will be performed in Germany and contractor must comply with German law (e.g. authorization to do business in Germany). 8. Only local sources are solicited to do business in Germay.
