- Pre-solicitation Notice DTMA93Q1600032: This solicitation will be advertised as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236210 (Construction of Other Warehouse Buildings). The small business size standard is $36,500,000.00. The solicitation is for a firm fixed priced construction which consists of site preparation, construction and erection of a 48' x 60' x 14' prefabricated metal building/warehouse to be installed at the MARAD Lay-Berth Facility in Orange, TX. The Magnitude of Construction is between $50,000.00 and $100,000.00. Solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFQ) utilizing FAR 15. Proposals will be evaluated utilizing the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) method. This solicitation will be issued via Internet on the Federal Business Opportunities website, www.fbo.gov on or about 18 July 2016. It is each offeror's responsibility to download the solicitation from the internet website. No paper copies will be provided. Notification of amendments shall be made via the Internet as well. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the website daily for any posted changes to this solicitation.
