- The Space Systems Academic Group (SSAG) at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) designs, builds, tests, and flies space flight experiments for the purpose of graduate education in Space Systems Engineering and Space Systems Operations, and space-related research. Testing performed on experiments includes thermal-vacuum cycling for functional test and for survivability in ultra-high vacuum. Materials outgassing in ultra-high vacuum is of interest for contamination control issues of spacecraft and spacecraft materials. The system to be procured shall provide a measurement system to quantitatively determine outgassing levels of spacecraft hardware in a thermal-vacuum chamber. The system shall be sufficient to meet TQCM requirements of ASTM E2900-12, Method B for spacecraft hardware thermal vacuum bakeout
