- Synopsis for Solicitation Number N00189-16-T-0428-CREDO RETREATS The NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center Norfolk (FLC), Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA intends to negotiate a firmed fixed-price, 100 Percent small business set-aside procurement action for lodging facilities for twelve (12) couples beginning 1 September 2016 for Chaplains Religious Enrichment Development Operations (CREDO), Marriage Enrichment and Personal Resiliency Retreats, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), Washington, DC. The services will be acquired utilizing procedures under Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13.5 “ Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, as well as FAR Subpart 19.5 - Set-asides for Small Business. The impending contract will include a one-year period of performance that will commence on 01 September 2016 and conclude on 31 August 2017 The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 721110 and the size standard is $32.5 million. A request for quote will be available for download on or about 07 July 2016 under RFP number N00189-16-T-0428 at the following websites: https://www.neco.navy.mil and www.fbo.gov. Potential vendors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available by downloading the documents at the above websites. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contract from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendor for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a vendor ineligible for award.
