- Amendment 0005 TITLE: NEW ORLEANS TO VENICE HURRICANE PROTECTION SYSTEM NOV-NF-W-06B.3 WEST POINTE A LA HACHE,GULF SOUTH PIPELINE AND SIPHON T-WALLS PLAQUEMINES PARISH, LOUISIANA DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work consists of the constructing new floodwall to include: reinforced concrete walls, driving steel sheet piling, driving steel pipe piling, compacted embankment fill, clearing and grubbing, grouted riprap, structural excavation and backfill, painting, turf establishment, culverts, demolition, temporary flood protection, utility modifications, silt fencing, and other incidental work. The estimated value of the proposed work is more than $10,000,000.00. Plans and specifications will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Web Page at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Offerors may register on the Interested Vendor's List (IVL) at http://www.fbo.gov/ and retrieve an IVL from the same location. Compact disc and hardcopies will not be available. Offerors are encouraged to check often for changes (AMENDMENTS) to posted solicitations. Issue date 26 May 2016. Bid due date and time is 21 July 2016 @ 02:00 p.m.. This procurement is a Woman Owned Small Business Set-Aside and issued under FSC Code Y1PZ for a firm fixed price contract.
