- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice in conjunction with procedures in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit price quotations. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive price quotations. This combined synopsis/solicitation is seeking for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and/or Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) who is an authorized distributor of General Electric Healthcare product and authorized to provide technical and maintenance support. All price quotation received prior to 07/12/2016 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Solicitation Number VA261-16-Q-0762 has been assigned as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-88 effective June 15, 2016 and Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation Supplement (VAAR) current to January 7, 2010. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a price quote. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334510, size standard 1250. Only emailed requests received directly from the interested persons are acceptable. Requirement Description: Purchase 6 each LOGIQ E9 XDClear 2.0 - IC5-9-D micro-convex Intracavitary Probe - Probes must have version of XDclear 2.0 for use with GE Healthcare Logiq E9 Ultrasound systems.
