- Desciption of Items This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13 and in accordance with FAR Part 19, Small Business Programs. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on FEDBIZOPPS the RFQ number is DOL-16-OWCP-RFQ-0132. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions in this solicitation document. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: https://www.acquisition.gov/far/fac.html. The NAICS code is 334118. The Small Business Standard for this NAICS is 1,000. The following FAR provision and clauses are applicable to this procurement: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items; 52.212-3 and its ALT I, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items BASIS OF AWARD THIS IS A BRAND NAME OR EQUAL REQUIREMENT. The Description of Items and pricing worksheet is attached to this synopsis / solicitation. This solicitation is issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order, to the offeror with the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable offer with a delivery date of no later than (NLT) 30 (calendar) days after award. - Quotes that do not stipulate a 30 day delivery time will not be considered. - Quotes must be submitted using the attached pricing worksheet. - Quotes from entities that are not a small business will not be considered. - Offerors must be registered in the SAM prior to the solicitation closing date. Questions regarding this solicitation are due no later than 12:00PM EST, Tuesday, July 12, 2016. Questions shall be submitted via email ONLY to Ambrea Harris, Contract Specialist: harris.ambrea.d@dol.gov. Phone inquiries will not be accepted. Answers to question will be posted via an amendment to this combined synopsis on Wednesday, July 13, 2016.
