- Description
- Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supplies and transportation necessary to perform all phases of laundry service for Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia in accordance with the performance work statement (PWS), all applicable laws, regulations, standards, and commercial practices. The Contractor is encouraged and expected to use innovative approaches to efficiently and effectively accomplish the PWS requirements in a way that fosters pride and ownership in the work performed. All phases of laundry operations shall be conducted at a Contractor owned-Contractor operated facility (COCO) that is fully equipped with equipment of such design and operational features as to specifically handle Army linen. The COCO facility shall be staffed and managed/supervised by personnel fully knowledgeable of what equipment, wash procedures, drying procedures, etc. are required to meet the unique requirements for processing military laundry. The Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield Laundry Drop Off facility will be staffed and operated with Contract employees. No portion of the laundry operation shall be performed on Fort Stewart or Hunter Army Airfield.
