- Description
- The US Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Environmental Laboratory (EL), Environmental Processes Branch (EP-P) has a requirement provide maintenance services for the FT-IR located in building 3299 at ERDC, Vicksburg, Mississippi. The FT-IR was purchased from Thermo Electron North America, LLC under contract W912HZ-11-P-0275. The new service contract must provide one preventative maintenance visit and unlimited parts/labor/travel for repairs in case of instrument malfunction during the contract duration. Any parts or upgrades that would be installed as a result of the services must coordinate, connect, or interface with the existing system to prevent loss of instrument function and data quality. Thermo Fisher Scientific is the only company with access to performance verified component parts, spare parts, software, technical support, upgrades and engineering resources to maintain the original operating specifications for Thermo Fisher Scientific ‘s FT-IR. Thermo Fisher Scientific's Field Service Engineers (FSE's) are the only certified and factory trained engineers available to service the instrument, and are part of an organization that is ISO certified.
