- Request for Information (RFI) Architecture and Capacity Planning Support The Department of Veterans Affairs' Technology Acquisition Center is seeking sources to provide Architecture and Capacity Planning Support. Please see attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement. This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. Do not submit a proposal or quote. It is requested that all companies interested in participating in this effort please note their interest and submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to meet this requirement. This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered an Invitation for Bids, Request for Quotations, or a Request for Proposal. Additionally, there is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this RFI. Your response to this RFI will be treated only as information for the Government to consider. You will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs that you incur in responding to this RFI. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. No funds have been authorized, appropriated or received for this effort. The information provided may be used by the VA in developing its acquisition strategy and Statement of Work. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to pay for the information submitted in response to this RFI. The Government requests that respondents provide the following information in their responses: 1)Does the DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) provide the adequate details to provide a Firm-Fixed Price proposal? If not, please indicate which areas of the requirement are unclear. 2)Please provide any examples of similar services of a similar scope are currently being provided to another Government agency. Please include the Agency, contract number, order number if applicable, awarded dollar value, and period of performance, along with a brief description (no more than a few sentences) of the services being provided. 3)A brief capability statement detailing the ability of the Offeror to complete the requirements in the DRAFT PWS. Small businesses must include intent and ability to meet set-aside requirements for performance of this effort, if applicable. In addition to meeting the 50% requirement, ability should also include information as to available personnel and financial resources. For SDVOSBs, this should also include the prime planned percentage and if under 50%, the names of the potential team members that may be used to fulfill the 50% SDVOSB requirement. 4)A Rough Order of Magnitude. 5)Include any questions you may have for this RFI in a separate document.
