- MICC Center - Fort Knox intends to issue a request for quote (RFQ) for dry cleaning, laundry and alteration services for a firm fixed price contract with a period of performance of 1 August 2016 through 31 July 2017 with two one year option periods. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, facilities, equipment, supplies, materials and vehicles to perform the necessary services and be within a 30 mile radius of Reno, Nevada. This will be solicited as a 100% small business set-aside. NAICS is 812320 (Size Standard: $5.5M). All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. The solicitation (SF 1449) will be posted to the Federal Opportunities website (FedBizOpps) at http://www.fbo.gov. The solicitation may be downloaded from this website. Contractors shall be registered in the System of Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award of a contract. Contractors shall ensure SAM registration is active. The official SAM website is http://www.sam.gov/. Solicitation will be issued on or about 6 July 2016 with quotes due on 13 July 2016, 11:00 a.m. (EST). Please note these dates are subject to change. All amendments to the solicitation will likewise be posted to FBO. Contractors are cautioned to check this website for amendments. Paper copies of the solicitation (SF 1449) will not be available. All quotes shall be emailed to dremayne.t.doyle.civ@mail.mil. Faxed or late quotes WILL NOT be accepted. All offers shall be submitted no later than the date and time specified for receipt (see Block 9 on the SF 1449 or the latest amendment). Award will be made to the lowest priced, responsive, responsible offeror.
