Donnellan, (904) 232-3055 DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Tampa Harbor, Maintenance Dredging, 43-Foot, 41-Foot, and 34-Foot Projects, Hillsborough Bay (HB), Cut-A (HB), Cut-C (HB), and Cut-D (HB), Tampa Harbor, Hillsborough County, Florida Project work will be divided into a Base plus four options which consists of maintenance dredging the Federal navigation channel within the Hillsborough bay Cuts A, C, and D. All excavated material will be placed in the designated area of the Dredge Material Placement Facility (DMPF) 3D (DMPF-3D). All areas will incorporate an additional 2 feet allowable overdepth beyond the required depths shown on the plans. Work also includes: turbidity monitoring; DMPF-3D site dewatering; endangered species observers; and migratory bird monitoring and migratory bird nesting deterrence within DMPF-3D. Migratory bird nesting deterrence could require pumping of water to specific height within DMPF-3D area prior to beginning dredging operations. Estimated quantity of material to be dredged is approximately 630,000 Cubic Yards (CY). The contractor shall begin performance within 45 calendar days and complete performance within 300 calendar days after receipt of the notice to proceed (NTP). This performance period is mandatory. PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS: The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 01 July 2016 and bids will be due on or about 01 August 2016. NAICS Code: 237990, size standard $27.5 million. Magnitude of construction: is between $10,000,000.00 and $15,000,000.00. THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED ACQUISITION. ALL RESPONSIBLE OFFERORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE.
