- Redstone Synopsis 511110 Solicitation Notice W9124P-16-T-9566: This solicitation will be advertised as a Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 511110 (Newspaper Publishers) the size standard is 1,000 employees. The Contractor shall pick up editorial or other material from the United States Government Public Affairs Office (PAO). The Contractor shall provide a minimum of two photo journalist quality digital cameras with a variety of flashes, lenses and memory cards yearly. The Contractor shall process digital images provided by the PAO and make color or black and white electronic prints for use in the Redstone Rocket. The Contractor shall provide a full time (40 hours per week) photographer to take photographs, edit photographs suitable for publication in the Redstone Rocket, post photos on social media platforms and archive all photos on government owned drives. All photographs taken under this contract will be the property of the PAO for use and distribution as necessary. The Contractor shall provide still photography at no cost to the government after normal working hours and on weekends upon two days advance notice from the PAO. The Contractor shall provide a full time (40 hours per week) Assistant Editor to collect, write, process and transmit information suitable for publication in the Redstone Rocket, take photos, plan and manage the weekly assignment budget, interview and approve contract hiring's, upload stories on the army.mil core website, obtain approval from the editor before going to press every week, oversee the Redstone Rocket website and Social Media presence, and other duties as required. The Contractor shall provide one full time (40 hours per week) employee to collect, write, and process and transmit information suitable for publication in the Redstone Rocket about the people and activities of Redstone Arsenal. In day-to-day performance and administration of the Civilian Enterprise (CE) contract, Contractor personnel performing such support services shall not be treated in any way as though they are government employees. The Contractor shall provide one part time (20-40 hours per week) employee to collect, write, process and transmit information suitable for publication in the Redstone Rocket about the people and activities of Redstone Arsenal.
