- This is a Sources Sought announcement for acquisition planning purposes. No formal solicitation for this work exists at this time. All qualified concerns may submit capability statements for consideration. Capability statements received will be reviewed to determine the quantity and availability of contractors who have the technical level of expertise, administrative and management capability to perform the effort described below. The capability statements received will be used to determine The Bureau of Reclamation ¿s overall procurement strategy. The Bureau of Reclamation ¿s Lower Colorado Dams Office intends to install Radio System with 7 GHz equipment, from Cunningham Peak Site to Blythe office Site. This work is located at two separate work sites: Cunningham Peak, Arizona and, and Blythe office California. All sites are monitored and require escort by authorized Reclamation personnel. Blythe Office Group or Electronic Engineer will serve as escorts. Cunningham Peak Site. Cunningham Peak Site is located 17 miles south west of Quartzsite, Arizona (U.S. highway 93). Vehicle access is available (through security gates) via dirt road to Cunningham Peak Site. The proposed location of the microwave dish will be determined at the site at the existing Tower (33 °34'10.38"N114 °20'58.43"W). Blythe Office Site. The Blythe Office site is located at 1064 East Hobsonway, Blythe, CA. Blythe Office vehicle access is via restricted entry dirt road. The proposed location of the microwave dish will be determined at the site at the existing pole 33 °36'33.40"N114 °35'5.19"W. Performance is not anticipated to begin until August 2016. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 541690 ¿ Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services $15,000,000. All responsible sources are welcome to submit a capability statement on or before 1600 July 11, 2016. Said submittals will be reviewed and considered by Reclamation to determine the most appropriate acquisition strategy.
