- Space and Naval Warfare Center Atlantic (SPAWAR Atlantic), Code 22130, intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis to DRS Systems, Inc., 100 North Babcock Street, Melbourne, FL 32935, for the attached listed material. DRS is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and integrator of the IVCS system and due acceptance standards, configuration management to the design specifications approved by NAVSEA, no substitute can be used. Any substitute will result in the inability to install the replacement components and require significant engineering/system design changes, therefore no alternates will be considered for this request. This synopsis is posted for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. SPAWARLANT intends to award a sole source to DRS Systems, Inc. This action will be conducted under FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. NAICS is 334210. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
