Description
Agenda for EGS Industry Day and Standards Working Group Meeting The purpose of this announcement is to formally communicate the Government's plan to conduct an Enterprise Ground Services (EGS) Industry Day to provide updated status and direction of the EGS effort. Immediately following the Industry Day, the Government will hold a Standards Working Group planning meeting to enable detailed collaboration with industry on current and proposed standards that have potential high pay-off to EGS effort. A draft agenda is attached for these consecutive events. The Industry Day will occur in the Titan conference room at the Aerospace Corporation, 2310 East El Segundo Blvd., El Segundo CA 90245, on 22 July 2016 from 0800-1130 PDT. This session will be informational only, and the Government does not plan to hold one-on-one sessions during this event. The government uses the EGS wiki collaboration site to openly communicate with Industry. Upon closure of the Industry Day portion of the day, an EGS Standards Working Group will convene in the Titan conference room at the Aerospace Corporation, 2310 East El Segundo Blvd., El Segundo CA 90245, on 22 July 2016 from 1300 - 1700 PDT. The Government invites industry participation in recommending and evaluating proposed standards for enterprise ground system development and deployment. The EGS Government/Industry Standards Working Group (SWG) is organized as an advisory body to the EGS Program Office Standards Branch. The SWG will consist of a set of Standards Committees in the areas of scope that include IT infrastructure, software development & deployment, mission integration, mission data and cyber security standards. These committees will be acting as the primary deliberative bodies in their respective technical areas. In addition, the SWG will serve a coordination and communication function for the review and working group as a whole. It is expected that EGS working committees will collaborate with industrial standards groups to garner the broadest contributions from industry and identify the best military, civil, and commercial standards to be incorporated into EGS. SWG membership will include government and industry mission partners who serve on the Standards Committees. This includes government, Federally Funded Research and Development Contractors and Industry. It is encouraged that interested industry partners request access to the EGS wiki (Solicitation Number 16-064) to stay updated on EGS developments. The technical content discussed during the planning meeting is controlled unclassified information, Distribution C: Distribution authorized to U.S. Government Agencies and their contractors and may contain up to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Information that is restricted under ITAR and the Arms Export Control Act shall be discussed. Only DoD, NASA, and U.S. contractors who have registered with Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) to receive ITAR and Distribution Statement C restricted Scientific and Technical Information (STINFO) will be permitted to attend either meeting. Those interested in participating in the stated meetings should contact SMC points of contact (POCs) Lt Megan Frechette and Maj Derrick Langley NLT 19 July 2016, 1600 PDT. For each company acquiring access, please provide a completed and certified copy of DD Form 2345, Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement for the individual's employer, and a verification letter from the Data Custodian who is listed in Block 3a. stating attendee(s) are eligible to receive militarily critical technical data. Each attendee will be required to bring a government-issued photo ID such as a current driver's license, Common Access Card (CAC), or passport, and current proof of employment (e.g. company employee badge). The company name, mailing address, email address and phone number for the point of contact, and current CAGE code must accompany the above.
