Estimated issue date: 29 JUNE 2016; Estimated closing/response date: 29 JULY 2016. **These dates are subject to change. Solicitation number: FA8118-16-R-0072. 3. Service/Spare/Repair/OH: Remanufacture. 4. AMC: R2C. 5. Item: (a) E-3/E-8 Electro-Mechanical Actuator and (b) E-3/E-8 Valve Assembly. 6. NSN: (a) 4810-01-041-9334RK and (b) 4810-01-049-3608RK. 7. P/N: (a) 3360-1 and (b) 42399. 8. Description: Dimensions: Length: (a) 5.0" and (b) 6.8", width: (a) 8.3" and (b) 5.6", height: (a) 12.5" and (b) 3.0", weight: (a) 3.5 lbs and (b) 3.0 lbs. Material content: (a) Aluminum alloy and (b) Aluminum alloy. Function: (a) Motor actuated fuel gate valve and (b) Motorized fuel shutoff valve. 9. Total Line Item Quantity: Best Estimated Quantities are as follows: (a)Remanufacture of Electro-Mechanical Actuator: Basic Year - 5 EA; Opt I - 5 EA; Opt II - 5 EA; Opt III - 5 EA; Opt IV - 5 EA. All quantities are estimated. (b)Remanufacture of Valve Assembly: Basic Year - 10 EA; Opt I - 10 EA; Opt II - 10 EA; Opt III - 10 EA; Opt IV - 10 EA. All quantities are estimated. Over and Above: To Be Negotiated (as needed). Data: Not Separately Priced. 10. Application: E-3/E-8. 11. Destination: TBD. 12. Delivery: (a) 5 EA per Month Beginning 30 days After Receipt of Order or Reparables, Whichever is Later. (b) 6 EA per Month Beginning 30 days After Receipt of Order or Reparables, Whichever is Later. Five year Requirements contract will be solicited, with 1 Basic Year and 4 Option Years. 13. Qualification Requirements DO apply. Pre-Award Survey (PAS) and Initial Production Evaluation (IPE) may be required. This requirement is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. 14. Export Control: Not Applicable. 15. Applicable Tech Orders: (a) 8D1-14-164-3 (Note: PN 3360-1 actuator assembly is a subcomponent of PN 40575-1 Actuator Assembly, Electric) and (b) 6J15-10-194-3 (Note: 42399 Fuel Shutoff Valve Assembly is a subcomponent of the 6837-1 Electric Motor-Operated Fuel Shutoff Valve). 17.
