- Description
- The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a sole source contract extension to Owl International Inc. doing business as Global Associates, located at 19200 Von Karmen, Irvine, CA 92612, to continue the operation and maintenance of all vessels assigned to the NAVSEA Inactive Ship Maintenance Office Philadelphia, PA and active vessels assigned to the CG/LSD Modernization Detachment Norfolk, VA. These services include the alteration services such as receipt, inspection, survey, maintenance, and disposal of vessels. In addition, the contractor may perform structural, mechanical, electrical repairs in support of the Modernization Program, and electrical modifications to vessels in support of experimental use programs, berthing vessel programs, and conversions, as specified by the program sponsor. This contract will provide continued support pending the results of the competitive, follow-on solicitation N00024-16-R-4100 which is currently advertised on FedBizOpps. The contract period of performance will include a base period of six (6) months and two (2) three (3) month option periods. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611 with a size standard of 1,250 employees. This is not a request for proposal or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation.
