- The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey, Patuxent Wildlife Research Center, Laurel, Maryland has a requirement to upgrade the HVAC system in the Gabrielson Laboratory facility. This work includes 1- 132.5 ton air-cooled water chiller, 2- duel fuel natural gas #2 fuel oil boilers, 2- air handling units, pumps, controls. The project magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Proposals are being requested under Request for Proposals G16PS00485, which will be issued at fedconnect.net on or about 06/03/16. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site fedconnect.net for the release of the G16PS00485 solicitation and amendments (if any). A statement of work, specifications, and drawings are not available for release at this time. A site visit is planned for 06/14/16 at 10:00 EST at the facility in Laurel, MD. More information regarding the site visit will be included in the solicitation documents to be posted at fedconnect.net on/about 06/03/16. Proposals will be due on or about 07/12/16 (exact date/time to be provided in the solicitation). The anticipated award will be firm fixed price. The NAICS code is 238220 with a small business size standard of $15.0 mil. This solicitation will be set aside for small business.
