- The U.S. Geological Survey, Geologic Hazards Team has a requirement for the renewal of Matlab licenses. The USGS is looking to renew the following Matlab products: MATLAB Reinstatement, MATLAB Maintenance, Signal Processing Toolbox Maintenance, Mapping Toolbox Maintenance, Statistics and Machine Learning Toolbox Maintenance, Organization Toolbox Maintenance, Optimization Toolbox Maintenance, Image Processing Toolbox Maintenance, Curve Fitting Toolbox Maintenance, Parallel Computing Toolbox Maintenance, MATLAB Complier Maintenance, and Control System Toolbox Maintenance. Based on information available at this time, and in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 253, implemented by FAR 6.302-1(c) - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements Brand Name. USGS considers the item(s) specified above as a sole source brand name from The Mathworks Inc, and proposes to negotiate with authorized resellers of this firm. However, should additional sources be identified, they will be considered. Firms who feel that they can furnish the required services are invited to submit in writing an affirmative response to this announcement, and such other materials which correspond to the required items stated herein. This information will be evaluated and used to determine if competitive opportunities exist. Affirmative response shall be received by email to mldale@usgs.gov by July 06, 2016 by 3:00 PM Mountain Standard Time. This notice may represent the Government's only official notice of this procurement.
