- Allen Bradley Modules LIst Allen Bradley Brand Name Justification NASA/KSC has a brand-name only requirement for Allen Bradley hardware and software modules in order to fabricate the local control and remote input/output distributors for ground support equipment requiring local command and control. The required modules list is attached to this notice. NASA/KSC intends to purchase the items from Rockwell Automation, 1 Allen Bradley Drive, Cleveland, OH 44124. The Allen Bradley modules are compatible with, and required to integrate into, the existing equipment and software in the Kennedy Ground Control Subsystem in the Mobile Launcher and Firing Room. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 1:00 p.m. eastern time on Tuesday, July 05, 2016. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
