Tax Liability Provision Provisions & Clauses This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number assigned to this announcement is F8M3SR6155AW01. This combined synopsis/solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-88 effective 15 June 2016 and DFARS Publication Notice 20160607 effective 07 June 2016. Description of Requirement: PLEASE PROVIDE AN ITEM THAT MEETS THE FEATURES SPECIFIED BELOW: 0001: RETAINING WALL BLOCKS - BOTTOM BLOCKS - BOTTOM BLOCKS ARE 46"WX60"DX18"H (62 EA) Essential Features: BLOCKS MUST BE ABLE TO BE SET INTO A CURVED PATTERN. BLOCK MUST INTERLOCK WITH EACH OTHER AND BE AT HEIGHT OF 36" PER TIER WITH ONE BOTTOM BLOCK AND ONE TOP BLOCK. BLOCK MUST ALSO MEET UP AT EXISTING BUILDING AND AN EXISTING RETAINING WALL FROM PREVIOUS CONSTRUCTION. BLOCK TO BE TAN IN COLOR. BLOCK MUST BE ABLE TO USE GRAVITY AS THE FORCE FOR HOLDING BACK EARTH. THERE IS NO WAY TO INTEGRATE A GEOGRID OR TIEBACK SYSTEM. SETBACK MUST BE DESIGNED INTO EACH BLOCK ASTHERE IS NO ROOM TO MOVE THE FOOTING LINE FORWARD OR BACK. EACH TIER IS 36" IN HEIGHT AND THERE ARE TWOTIERS FOR A TOTAL OF 72". REQUIRED TO HAVE 2 BOTTOM ROWS AND 2 TOP ROWS, ONE OF EACH PER TIER. BOTTOM ROW BLOCKS MUST WEIGH AT LEAST 2500LBS EACH TO HOLD EARTH BACK, TOP BLOCKS MUST WEIGH AT LEAST 1225LBS TO HOLD EARTH BACK. REQUIRED LENGTH OF BOTTOM BLOCK WALL TOTAL IS 309'. It is the contractor's responsibility to become familiar with the applicable provisions and clauses.
