- Description
- Synopsis for Repair, Add and Locate Natural Gas Distribution for Grand Forks AFB. The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, and materials necessary to complete JFSD 200417, Repair, Add and Locate Natural Gas Distribution at Grand Forks AFB in strict accordance with the technical specifications and drawings. Repair existing natural gas distribution lines for Military Family Housing (MFH) into a looped system by installing valves and providing back-feed piping. Install pressure regulators, meters, valves, and check valves on the back-feed piping. The contractor shall schedule and accomplish the back-feed piping and pressure regulating station along Redwood Drive prior to any other work in the Military Family Housing area in order to reduce utility outages. Extend natural gas distribution system to the CATM firing range complex. Install pressure regulators, meters, valves, and check valves on the new piping.. The performance period for the project is 120 calendar days after notice to proceed. A winter exclusion/no-work period of 1 Nov - 15 Apr shall apply.
