- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) intends to increase the level of effort by 563,351 hours within the current contract period of performance on an other than full and open competition basis on contract N68936-14-D-0018 for Engineering services with Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC), 925 Oyster Bay Rd., Bethpage, NY 11714-1035. A level of effort increase is required on contract N68936-14-D-0018 due to unanticipated mission support requirements. As a result of this level of effort increase, the travel cost must also be increased by an estimated $406,877. As the sole designer, developer, integrator, manufacturer, and supplier of the EA-6B aircraft and EA-18G Airborne Electronic Attack system, NGSC is the only source that has the unique combination of airframe and weapons system integration knowledge needed to perform the required mission support. Furthermore, NGSC holds all rights to the technical data package for these requirements. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal which shall be considered by the agency, however, any firm must clearly show their ability to perform the work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and schedule that would negatively affect the warfighter.
