- Amendment 001 to answer questions and extend the response due date from 07/05/2016 to 07/08/2016. Question 1: Will this UAS have a need for GPS SAASM (Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Module) or M-Code Receiver? Also, will it have a need to protect itself from GPS Jamming? Response 1: To clarify: GPS receivers and security technologies are unlikely to be the focus of the Phase 2 DAA MOPS Terms of Reference, however small Size, Weight, and Power ADS-B, which uses GPS, may be in scope. Other technologies of interest are EO/IR, RADAR, and LIDAR. Question 2: Does the sensor / surveillance system that is requested have to be co-located onboard the optionally piloted or unmanned vehicle? Could it instead be integrated with the ground control station if it could provide the same level of functionality while NOT co-located onboard the aircraft? Response 2: To clarify: this request for information is specifically focused on airborne sensors / surveillance systems that are located onboard the optionally piloted or unmanned vehicle.
