- Amendment to Pre-Solicitation notice posted April 21, 2016 The entire solicitation package (G16PS00355) is anticipated to be available on or after June 14, 2016. The solicitation notice and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading at Federal Business Opportunities at www.fbo.gov and FedConnect at https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/Default.htm at no charge. No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned sites regularly for any updates/amendments to this requirement. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and must complete online Representations and Certifications and be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov. The purpose of this pre-solicitation notice is to notify that the U.S. Geological Survey, National Wildlife Health Center, in Madison, WI plans to solicit offers for construction services regarding replacement of an existing sewer line with a new vacuum plumbing system. This work includes the installation of a new vacuum system for liquid effluent in a biosafety-level -3 (BSL-3) animal isolation laboratory. This requirement will be under Solicitation No. G16PS00355. The Government intends to award a single contract. The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS Code) is 237110 ¿ Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction with a size standard of $36.5 million. The completion date will be 245 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. This requirement is not set aside, so it is full and open competition. The contract type is a firm-fixed price contract and will be awarded based on lowest-price, technically acceptable. Solicitation No. G16PS00355 will be issued on or about May 6, 2016. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package.
