Description

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for STARLIMS Annual Gold License Support services with a period of performance of June 14, 2016 - June 13, 2017. The DEA intends to issue a sole-source award under the authority provided in 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) to Abbott Informatics (4000 Hollywood Blvd, Suite 333 South, Hollywood, FL 33021), the only known authorized provider of the STARLIMS products, licenses and maintenance services. The STARLIMS Annual Gold License Support services, to be issued under NAICs Code 511210 - Software Publishers, are required to maintain STARLIMs commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software previously purchased and currently utilized by the DEA. TheSTARLIMS Annual Gold License Support services provides the following four main features: 1) Access to unlimited telephone hotline services; 2) New revisions, software updates and maintenance releases; 3) Access to the technical support intranet website for information searches and patch downloads; and 4) Submissions and summaries of software investigation and defect reports. Though it is the Government's intent to sole-source the referenced requirement, the DEA will forward a subsequent solicitation to all interested sources that can demonstrate in writing they are an authorized source to provide the STARLIMS Annual Gold License Support services. All questions and/or submission of the referenced written documentation shall be submitted electronically to Ryan.F.Burke@usdoj.gov no later than Monday, June 6, 2015 at 12:00 PM (EST).
