- Description
- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), Contracting and General Services in Falls Church, VA has a continued need to provide a removable, secure computing system and devices. The removable, secure computing device connects users to their workstation desktops and applicable network resources. This connection capability resource must be from any internet enabled, Windows based computer. For system operations within specific, direct control of vendor, the remote access device services system and any rack system related maintenance, support, and upgrades and vendor ¿s user support helpdesk shall be available to operational end-users 24/7/365. Maintenance and update of system components shall have no noticeable operational / end-user impact. Vendor ¿s hardware and system components shall be located within the USFWS data center and operate within the DOI security boundary and Network with a current, DOI approved A&A. USFWS retains overall control FWS network and data centers operations. The FWS will enter into a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with the vendor for delivery of devices and service subscriptions maximum limit of $10M to as many as 10,000 potential users with a next phase of implementation including various Bureaus and offices within DOI as additional users. Additional specifications will be provided in the statement of work. Evaluation criteria will be defined in the solicitation. The associated North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541990. It is anticipated the solicitation package will be issued around June 17, 2016, and proposals will be due 30 days after the solicitation is released. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by this agency.
