- Description: furnish, replace, and install doors and automated opener This is a Combined Synopsis Solicitation for commercial items and will be conducted in accordance FAR Part 13 (FAC 2005-88). This procurement is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB's). The purpose of this Solicitation is to Furnish and replace doors and door frame for the Miami VA Healthcare System as indicated in the solicitation document. It is the intention of the Government to solicit via Request for Quotation (RFQ) VA248-16-Q-0776, NAICS Code 238290 in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, and schedules of the solicitation and award a contract on a competitive basis. The contract resulting from the solicitation shall be a Firm Fixed Priced contract. In an effort to meet the green initiative, documents shall be submitted electronically via email only. Emails shall not be more than five (5) megabytes in size. Offers submitted by any other means other than emailed will not be accepted. The electronic solicitation is hereby announced on this 1st day of the month of June 2016. The offeror shall be responsible for downloading all solicitation documents/amendments from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website (www.fbo.gov) without further notice from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Interested firms must be fully registered and active in the SAM database www.sam.gov. All correspondence and any and all questions must be submitted in via email to: Robert.gamble@va.gov. The Contracting Officer is O'niel Alvarez. All Requests for Information (RFI's) from industry or any questions are due by 9 June 2016.
