- SYNOPSIS: (2) Globus Lumbar Lami Sets and Implants TLIF Surgeries This synopsis is issued in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(1) and FAR 5.207. This proposed action is for the procurement of (2) Globus Lumbar Lami Sets and Implants TLIF Surgeries. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This proposed procurement will be a sole source award under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 339113: Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing. Business size standard for NAICS 339113 is 500 employees. PSC code: 6515 - Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment and Supplies. Delivery Schedule: 8-9 June, 2016 Delivery Destination: Medical Materiel Bldg 830 Area A 4881 Sugar Maple Dr. Wright Patterson AFB, OH 45433 Requirement: June 8th: RISE TLIF SPACER 10x26x8-15mm 10 DEGREE, 3 each Requirement: June 9th ALTERA TLIF SPACER 10x26x9-13mm 8 DEGREE, 3 each. The quantities identified above are default quantities reflected in the price quotation submitted by Globus Medical System, and the quantities have been confirmed by the user at the hospital. The proposed source is Globus Medical North America, Inc. 2560 General Armistead Ave Audubon, PA. 19405-5214, United Stated. This procurement will not be competed because the aforementioned Medtronic implant and planting system is currently the only implant system that the surgeon is trained for all procedures. The Government will award a contract to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Technical Capability and Price will be used to evaluate all offers. The Department of Defense (DoD) has determined the System for Award Management (SAM) to be the single point of DoD registration for contractors who conduct business or who are interested in conducting business with the government.
