- The Regional Contracting Office-MCIWEST, Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, CA, has a requirement to provide installation, maintenance, and repair services for the Avaya telephone system and third party telecommunication equipment at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Miramar, California. The period of performance is expected to begin on July 1, 2016. The anticipated procurement will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract. This is a pre-solicitation notice that a solicitation is scheduled to be released via FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) on or around June 20, 2016 for Avaya and third party telephone equipment maintenance services. This is not a request for responses. This announcement is a pre-solicitation notice only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Set-aside status: The solicitation is scheduled to be issued as a Full and Open Competition. The North American Industry Classification System code for this requirement is 811213 "Communication Equipment Repair and Maintenance". Conducting Business with the Government In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Information on registering in SAM may be obtained by calling (866) 606-8220 or via the internet at http://www.sam.gov.
