- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for 5B Signal Conditioning Modules and High Density Back-Panels; 113 modules and 14 high density back-panels. The services provided by Dataforth Corporation are to provide 113 5B Signal Conditioning Modules and 14 high density back-panels. The NAICS code is 334513 and the business size is $750. The proposed purchase order is being solicited on a sole-source basis to Dataforth Corporation. The proposed action is for various 5B Signal Conditioning Modules and High Density Back-Panels; 113 modules and 14 high density back-panels for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). The basis for restricting competition is for the following reasons: Dataforth Corporation is the 5B module manufacturer that provides modules that meet the requ i red accuracy and linearity specifications, and only Dataforth offers all of the types of modules necessary to support the competition, Wave Energy Prize (WEP). The NSWCCD intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order to Cummings-Wagner Company Inc. using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Interested parties may identify their interest to this requirement by submitting a capabilities statement no later than 29 April 2016. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received by 04/29/2016, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
