- AIR 4.11 Industry Day Acquisition Strategy Update (30 Mar 2016) This Special Notice is for informational purposes only and shall not be considered as an invitation for bid, request for quotation, request for proposal, or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect cost or changes by the Government will arise as a result of contractor participation in the NAVAIR 4.11 Rapid Capability Engineering & Integration Department informational Industry Day. The information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract. Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) conducted an informational Industry Day on Thursday, 20 August 2015 located in California, Maryland. The objective of this event was to enhance Government-industry communication, conduct market research, and increase competition in support of Naval Aviation by presenting information regarding AIR-4.11 capabilities and the requirements for the procurement of services in support of AIR-4.11 missions. Industry has requested that the Government post future information relevant to the AIR-4.11 Industry Day in the form of a Solicitation vice a Sources Sought Announcement. At this time, the Government will continue to communicate with Industry using this Sources Sought Announcement (Control No. 07202015). Attachments: 1. AIR 4.11 Industry Day Agenda 2.
