Description
The US Bureau of Reclamation (USBR) is conducting market research to determine small business interest and capabilities to construct a new Fire Station at the Grand Coulee Power Office (GCPO) located in Grand Coulee, WA. The work includes construction of the new Fire Station including all associated utilities, site civil improvements, precast concrete water intertie building and approximately 2,250 linear feet of new potable water main, underground medium voltage power, demolition of asphalt roads adjacent to site, realignment of roadways, construction of Portland cement concrete paved roads and parking surfaces, cast-in-place concrete retaining wall, and storm water infiltration basin. The Fire Station will be constructed in accordance with the Federal Guiding Principles for New Construction through the GBCI-NC 2009 Compliance Path. It will be the Contractor's responsibility to familiarize themselves with this sustainability program, to determine which requirements are influenced by their works, and to meet the requirements of those sections for this project. The Fire Station will be constructed IAW the following building codes: • 2012 IBC, IFC, IMC w/Washington State Amendments & ICC A117.1-2003 • 2012 UPC w/Washington State Amendments • 2014 NEC w/Washington State Amendments • 2014 Washington State Administrative Code (WAC) • 2012 Washington State Energy Code • 2012 IECC • Americans with Disability Act (AD) Tittle II 7 Architectural Barriers Act accessibility (ABA) Guidelines • NFPA 101 The magnitude if this project is expected to be between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The intent of this notice is to identify potential small business offerors interested in Fire Station construction at GCPO. Interested prime contractors and subcontractors are invited to submit responses to the email or physical address below. Participation is voluntary and respondents will not be compensated for their participation. The identity of respondents will not be revealed outside the Contracting Officer's staff. A contract will not result directly from this market research and there may be future market research or acquisition planning announcements made for this project. Responses should include, at a minimum: • A confirmation of the small business status for NAICS 236220 • Individual project and overall bonding capacity • Experience with projects of a similar nature and/or magnitude • A statement of interest in submitting an offer for this project in Grand Coulee, WA Responses to this request should be submitted to cclifford@usbr.gov or mailed to: Colby A.
