- USP Leavenworth has two separate fire alarm systems- Notifier AM/2020 and FCI (Fire Control Instruments). Both these systems will require inspection under the same bid. The following items, at a minimum, are to be included in the annual fire alarm inspection/test. This is a convenience list only. For more detailed methods and frequencies refer to NFPA 72, Table 14.4.3.2 - Testing. If the inspection is performed in house: The NFPA 72 Fire Alarm Equipment Inspection and Testing Checklist (or equivalent) must be used to document findings. If a qualified contractor performs the inspection, the procurement documentation shall specify they provide a written report containing, at a minimum, the information contained in the Equipment Inspection and Testing Checklist and identify all deficiencies, prior to final payment.
