- P16PS00773 Amendment 000001 Amendment issued to answer interested quoter questions and to clarify and provide additional information regarding Specifications for Lumber & Misc Building Materials for Group Shelter. Please see attachment (P16PS00773 Amend 0001 - Attach 01) which replaces initial Attach 01 and provides additional details regarding type of lumber and color for lumber, siding and window slider sections of the materials specification attachment. Attachment and additional information is for the Misc Building Materials for Group Shelter only. The attachment with specifications for the roofing materials (Attach 02) is unchanged. Additionally amendment extends the date specified for receipt of quotes to 4/08/2016 at 3:00 pm PDT. All other solicitation information remains the same. BUILDING MATERIALS: Purchase and Delivery of Building & Roofing Materials The National Park Service, San Juan Island National Historical Park (SAJH) has a requirement and is Requesting Quotes for the purpose of purchasing Lumber, Building Materials, and Roofing Materials which will be utilized by park maintenance personnel in constructing a Group Shelter at the park. Request for Quote (RFQ) P16PS00773; Building Materials Purchase and Delivery. This RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 2005-87-1) and is set aside for small businesses; NAICS 321999 Other Miscellaneous Wood Product Manufacturing and/or 332322 Roofing, sheet metal, manufacturing contractors/vendors, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. A Wholesale Trade or Retail Trade business concern submitting an offer or a quote on a supply acquisition is categorized as a non-manufacturer and deemed small if it has 500 or fewer employees and meets the requirements of 13 CFR 121.406. The Government intends to make a Firm Fixed Price, Simplified Acquisition (FAR Part 13), Best Value Award to the responsible quoter whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. We prefer to award to one contractor/vendor, however; reserve the right to make multiple awards. Please view the information below and in the attached documents and if interested provide a quote for the materials and components listed. Note that the information provides specifications and may include recommended name and model numbers that meet the government's requirements for comparison purposes only. If you do not carry that specific name/model please provide names and specifications for any equivalent items that you can provide. Delivery Location: Materials to be purchased shall meet specification requirements listed in the attached specification documents and are to be delivered to San Juan Island, National Historical Park. Address: San Juan Island, NHP 4585 West Valley Road Friday Harbor, WA 98250 Note; that San Juan Island is accessed via the Washington State Ferry System. Contractors/vendors are advised to check ferry pricing and confirm shipping costs prior to submitting a quote.
