- Sole Source Documentation The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Centers, Long Range Enforcement Class Contracts & Procurement Branch 2, Oakland, CA anticipates awarding sole source procurement to MTU America, inc. for the following services: Provide Mechanical and electrical technician to resolve operational issues with NR2 Main Diesel Engine and replacement of NR2 Main Diesel Engine A2p HP Turbocharger and to troubleshoot electrical faults within ECS-UNI. This procurement will be made on behalf of the USCGC WAESCHE. Vendor will provide all services/parts listed above. NAICS Code #333611 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals.
