- February 24, 2016 Subject: Sources Sought (Commercial Cable TV Service) PC-16-RFI-035 To: All Interested Vendors THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY! The Peace Corps seeks a vendor to provide cable services at its headquarters building located at 1111 20th Street NW, Washington, DC 20526. Cable television services are intended to keep program staff aware of current events that impact continuity of operations in the field. As part of this process, we are seeking information about Vendors that are capable of providing the services outlined in this document. Please note that this is a market survey for informational purposes only and is NOT a Request for Quotes (RFQ). No contract will be awarded based on this announcement, and no reimbursement will be made for costs associated with responding to this announcement. All responses must be submitted via e-mail in accordance with the instructions that follow. Responses to this Sources Sought should be specific as to which Vendor can proficiently provide cable TV services in order to satisfy the Peace Corps full set of requirements. It is anticipated that a future Peace Corps Task Order will include a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract pricing arrangement. The anticipated Period of performance will include a Base Period of Performance of twelve (12) months and four (4) one (1) year option periods. For this planned requirement, the Contractor shall be responsible for installing and maintaining cable television services. It is anticipated that the Peace Corps future contract will be available for use by twenty-seven (27) offices at its Headquarters' building. CAPABILITY STATEMENTS Responses to this announcement must provide detailed, concise information about the company's qualifications and experience in providing cable TV services as described in this document. The Agency requires commercial cable television provided by a Cable Operator that includes local and international media outlets. The term "cable operator" means any person or group of persons (A) who provides cable service over a cable system and directly or through one or more affiliates owns a significant interest in such cable system, or (B) who otherwise controls or is responsible for, through any arrangement, the management and operation of such a cable system. Project information (a minimum of three (3) past performance examples) shall include the contract number, dollar value, period of performance, current status, and current point of contact information including name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address. Furthermore, submitted capabilities statements must address the following: a.A vendor capable of providing commercial cable television to twenty-seven (27) offices at Peace Corps Headquarters. b.Describe your firm's ability to provide cable television service, maintenance, and support. c.Describe your firm's ability to provide all tools, wiring, labor, and equipment necessary to install cable service at the Headquarters building. d.Please describe your firm's ability to provide cable package that includes a variety of local and international news media outlets including but not limited to: •BBC America •CNBC HD •CNBC World •CNN HD •Biography HD •Bloomberg Television •C-SPAN •C-SPAN2 •Discovery Channel HD •Discovery Health •Documentary Channel •Fox Business Network HD •Fox News Channel HD •Headline News •History HD •HSN •Military Channel •MSNBC HD •NASA TV •National Geographic Channel HD •The Weather Channel HD The response to this notice shall not exceed five (5) pages.
